Once upon a time, in olden times, there was this villager
Kakada, labai seniai, buvo toks kaimietis.
He lived in a small village, by the name of Mindaugai.

The village was a part of the Town of Joniskis

which is one of the seven towns of Siauliai County.

The villager had heard about a particular great city, Kaunas.

So, one day he began to travel on foot through fields, paths and roads.

Kaunietis paklause. "Ar tavo uo kanda."
"Oh, never," Replied the villager.
"O, niekad" Atsake kaimietis.
So, the man from Kaunas started to pat the dog
Tai, Kaunietis pradejo uni glostyt.
WROOF WROOF the dog barked and bit the man from Kaunas in the hand to the bone.
WROOF WROOF uo sulojo ir ikando i Kauniecio ranka iki pat kaulo..
"Oi, brother, Oi Brother OOOOOOO" Screamed the man from Kaunas.
"Oi, broli, Oi Broli OOOOOOO" reke Kaunietis.
"Why did you say your dog never bites." The man from Kaunas said in pain.
"Kam tu sakai kad tavo uo niekad nekanda." Kaunietis sako skausmingai.
"Oh, that's the truth. My dog never bites." Replied the villager
"O, teisybe. mano uo niekad nekanda." Atsake Kaimietis
"Čia ne mano uo"
" This is not my dog."
Never assume.
Niekad nemanyk.
